About Kristina

Kristinas dance career started in 2015 when she graduated from the PDA (Professional Dance Academy) of the NYCDS in Stuttgart, Germany as a dancer, teacher and choreographer. Trained inBallett, Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop and more, she tried many other dance forms, but she felt most drawn to feminine dances such as HighHeels Dance and Twerking and Female Dancehall. Kristina found love in Twerking in 2015 and started to explore techniques and styles and trained more and more to become a Twerk dancer and teacher. Building the brand twerXout® in 2017 - a twerk fitness program, that was made to make Twerking more accessible to a wider audience and for people of all ages and forms in a fun and sporty way - was the very first big step into building the Twerk Community in Germany.

Kristina moved to Zurich, Switzerland in 2019 and continues to teach twerXout® and Twerking and started to build a new community in Zurich. At the same time, she continues to actively grow the community in Germany. Over the past 8 years she developed a skillset and found her own dance style with Twerking. During a Frame Up Strip workshop in Moscow, Kristina fell in love with dancing in the high strip heels and learn floor-work techniques. What caught her attention the most, was the fact that while you wear those heels, which people usually associate with stripper wear or shoes that pole-dancers wear in exotic-pole, was actually danced very differently and not necessarily sensual. It can be very emotional, vulnerable and almost feel like you are watching a contemporary dance piece. For her it's pure art and opens up those boundaries. Since choreographing and trying new things, add new styles to put different flavours to her dances, is what she loves, she quickly tried to choreograph her own pieces. That became succesful and Kristina began to teach her choreographies in workshops and then weekly classes, what now is the Floorplay class.

Kristina is most passionate about creating choreography video projects, allowing her creativity to flourish. She likes to be different all the time and changes the mood and style in every other choreography.
