Hello Dance Babes,

We're delving into the fascinating world of dance attire, catering to two distinct yet equally captivating genres – the enchanting realm of High Heels Dance and the pulsating energy of Twerking. Let's explore the perfect wardrobe for each, ensuring you shine brightly on the dance floor!

In short: to class - please wear clean sports shoes and shorts or very loose pants, now dive deeper:

1. Twerking: Comfort and Sass in Motion

Bottoms: Shorts All the Way

Twerking demands freedom of movement, and the right bottoms are essential:

  • Shorts: Opt for shorts that allow your legs and booty to breathe. Whether it's booty-popping or floor twerks, shorts offer the flexibility you need to own the dance floor.

I have them all - the booty-shorts when I want to feel like sexy badass, the biker shorts when when I cover up because those days are about to come, or the cool urban style shorts. I would not miss any of it, so here are my recommendations for shorts.

Lets start with the cute booty shorts, for the queens that are unstoppable:

Shops in Germany because you wanna shop locally and within the community first ;)

_______________

Nass Shop by Nastya Nass Everybody knows this girl and her shorts are the most popular worldwide Find the website here:

Now let's check out the biker shorts, that I personally find universal. I wear it in the gym, for Twerk class, for hiking, grocery shopping or chilling at home. You can find those here:

twerXout Shop

www.twerxout.com/shop/ THERE IS A BIG DISCOUNT CURRENTLY click on the pictures to shop

At the twerXout® shop you can also get the tX Leggings for those days, where you don't feel like showing skin but you still want to be able to shake that bumbum. The leggings are very thin and feel like a second skin. There are only small sizes available at stock (S, M)

Now my favourite shorts, the urban style shorts. Those I have in several colours and forms and I love all of them. In summer you can find those in several stores like H&M, New Yorker etc. and of course on Amazon you can find anything, anytime.

Safety First: Knee Pads

  • Knee Pads: Protect your knees_ They're a twerker's best friend, especially during those intense floor moves. Dance without limits!

Okay now, there is a big range here, from very bulky ones for sports to almost not helping kneepads from Pole Dance brands. I can recommend the dance wear brands Bloch and Capezio for high quality but also high cost kneepads around 40-60 €. Cheaper and very supporting kneepads are the ones from the Nass-Shop (keep in mind shipping costs). Also sports stores like Ochsner Sports (CH) offer kneepads, as well as Ballett-Shop in Zürich.

Also you can check the sport-wear shops in your city, but those are probably bulkier.

Footwear: Sporty Support

  • Sporty Shoes: Choose comfortable sneakers with good grip for twerking sessions. Your footwear should support dynamic movements and provide stability as you shake what you've got.

Top: Express Yourself

  • Crop Tops or Oversize T-shirts: Feel free to express your style with crop tops or sports bras or combine your tight shorts with an oversize T-shirt. Twerking is all about attitude, so rock an outfit that makes you feel fierce and fabulous.

2. High Heels Dance: Elegance in Every Step

Footwear: The Crown Jewel

High heels dance is all about grace, poise, and those mesmerizing steps that leave a lasting impression. Choosing the right footwear is paramount:

  • Sock or Barefoot Beginnings: Start your high heels dance journey by practicing in socks or going barefoot. Feel the floor, perfect your movements, and build confidence before slipping into heels.

  • Professional High Heels Dance Shoes: Invest in quality dance shoes with proper arch support and padding. Say goodbye to your old heels – it's time for footwear designed for the dance floor. Comfort and style in every step!

  • Professional Strip Heels Dance Shoes: Invest in quality dance shoes, because you want them to endure the dynamic moves, drops and hits that we are doing on the floor. There basic models and extravagant heels to choose from.

Customise Your Shoes

Heel Height:

Now when it comes to customising the heels, you will have to choose the height of your heels. If you are a beginner, I would recommend to go with 8,5 cm because girls - it's hard enough to perform those hot moves, you really need to start slow and low. You can get the next pair in another color and choose higher heels, as soon as you feel ready.

Heel Size: I would say you can take your normal shoe size in the Joheela heels. I normally have size 35 (yes I know, tiny) and I got me a 35 in both. They fit perfectly.

Heel Sole:

The "suede" sole is a soft leather. The benefits of the suede is that you can feel the floor better but have a litte less stability. Also you can have a better or more visible pointed foot. The "all floor" sole is a hard leather sole that gives you better stability and you could use that also for outside performances, although the pointing is not as visible in those. I have both soles. Soft in the black shoes and hard in the golden ones. I like both. Maybe as a beginner you can go for the "all floor" sole because of the stability.

My Recommendations Strip Heels Dance Shoes:

When it comes to Strip Heels there are also two brands that I could recommend and two models that I prefer. The two brands are PLEASERS or HELLA HEELS

Pleaser-Shoes www.pleaser-shoes.com

Adore 709

This shoe is probably the best to start with, because its the cheapest of the them all. If you first try out floor dances, you will quickly see damages in those shoes, this is why you should not spend hundreds of Euros in the beginning. If you want more stability in the ankles, you can go for the boots version below:

Adore-1020

Colors: I only showed you black ones, but of course you can go with any other color. I thinks its best to have black or beige Pleasers, because it matches all your outfits most. Altough I laid my eyes on a beautiful pair of red heels, uhhhh.

Size: I would go for black or beige ones, because it matches all of your outfits best. It's true to size, so you I wanna go for your normal size usually. Material:

Keep in mind that all patent-leather looks cool but you will see scratches right after the first wear. There are matte versions of those as well but choose what you fancy most. Heel Height: I would recommend you to start with a 7 inch heels if you are a beginner. There is no need to go for the higher heels just yet. The 8 inch heels look great but its more challenging to dance in those, so stick to the lower heel height. Usually Pleaser shoes are cheaper than other brands such as this badass brand:

Hella Heels

Hella Heels are a little more pricey but the designs and the quality of the heels is just outstanding.I got me this elegant 8 inch model, which gives me support in the ankles, does not show damages so clearly because of the material and is suuuuuuuuppppper sexy.

Check out their stock, its clear that we want them all. If you take one, you can use the link below to get 5 £ off.

Outfit: Elegance Meets Comfort

  • Form-Fitting Tops & Leggings: Embrace the elegance in tights or leggings that allow fluid movements. Combine a tight bottom with a loose shirt or sexy strap top or even choose a jogger but combine with a bikini top or a small crop top. Choose materials that breathe and stretch, ensuring comfort without compromising style.

Kisses, Kristina
